Maria del Carmen Avila Quintero was born in San Luis Potosí, SLP México. Lies in Hermosillo, Sonora for 35 years. First studied painting at Free Workshop at the University of Sonora, is a graduate of the first Diploma in Fine Arts from the University. Founding member of the group of painters: Artists Sonora \"ARTPLADES\" has participated in about 20 exhibitions in various galleries in the city of Hermosillo, likewise has taken courses in photography, monotype, watercolor, collografía, technical and materials, always looking for new options to experience the art oil and acrylic being the preferred techniques. Currently participate in free workshops at the University of Sonora.




\"Carmen\'s work can be divided into two parts: The first is based on experimentation, in which the search for evidence of his pictorial language, creating paintings with different techniques which we anticipate their way of seeing art. Part II using the ocher color palette in his work defines us as a figurative style. It also uses realism, painting faces and profiles in warm colors, like the background to his main theme as well as abstractions in Figure humanal and nature in general. Hopefully These works are the prelude to a series that serves as a conductor in the consolidation of his own style \"
